Starting this week I am going to be bringing conversations to the blog. In these recorded conversations with friends, colleagues and people whose ideas I think are interesting I will invite people to share about a topic that is close to their hearts.
In this conversation with Amy Palko, recorded last year before she wrote the foreword to my Listening to our Grandmothers book we talk about letting go of being superwoman, accepting help (and why it is a gift), finding nourishment in nature and in sacred places, choosing what is delicious to us, the way women are conditioned and why we must go against our conditioning and look after ourselves if we are to have the resources to support others.
I hope you enjoy listening.
